This blog is written especially for the current candidates who are running for the GOP nomination. If the Republican party is going to have a chance in Nov. then we are going to have to keep from making the same mistakes that were made in the the last Presidential election when mudslinging and back biting gave rise to a mass defection of independent voters who saw no electable candidates and it appears that the current run is shaping up exactly the same way.
In order for independent voters to want to vote for our GOP candidates we are going to have to make some fundamental changes in strategy to win enough support to take the general election. These changes include talking about the ideas you have for fixing the problems our country now face. A shift from business as usual politics but instead an agreement needs to be made between all the candidates to work together to decide which of the remaining candidates has the best chance to beat Obama and then you have to put that man forward by having the others bow out and let that candidate face off in November with Obama and beat him in the election.
Sometimes, we have to make sacrifices for the greater good and this is one of those times. Our country can't last another 4 years of President Obama. We stand on the brink of the total loss of our country to enemies foreign and domestic and the only way to drive the enemies from our gate is to take the general election and then begin a reversal of the socialist policies that have be foisted upon our people for the last 3 years.
The independent voters are watching and waiting to see if the GOP field can pull it together and put up a viable candidate and their is a limited window to show them this and then it will be gone and so will our country.
So now I am speaking to All the GOP candidates still in the race.. we as a nation need you to get this right . We need you to put aside petty differences in order to save our nation and preserve our freedom and liberty and maintain the Constitution which we hold dear. Don't let this moment in history pass, for it may never come again.

Restoring Liberty
The last three years have been ones of subjugation, humiliation and the tearing down of our rights and liberties so that our enemies are now at our very gates. Our President had more time for the enemies of freedom than for our own people whom he considered hicks holding on to their bibles and guns. The time has come to change all this with the upcoming elections and a chance to take back our country from socialist who would like nothing better than to see the end of our way of life and the creation of tyranny in the name of sweeping reforms. The "sweeping reforms" they are looking for are an end to our Constitution and slavery for our people in the form of having the government in every faucet of our lives from what we eat to whether we can turn the heat up in our homes. Believe that this can and will become a reality unchecked by political reformation and the election of a constitutional conservative who can put right all the socialist changes that have taken place in the last 3 years.
We have a golden opportunity for reset the country and repair the damage done by those who either had no idea what they were doing or had every idea and did it anyway.
With the election of a conservative constitutionally inspired President we have a chance to return to a time when returning vets are not considered possible terrorist and believing in the constitution wasn't a code to terrorist activity.
I believe in the Constitution and the freedoms it insures so if that makes me a terrorist then I stand in good company with men such as George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Paine. While the "Don't Tread On Me" flag has come to stand for fighting for liberty, I don't need it.. I have a flag already and she has represented all that is good in the world to me for some time. She is known by many names but the ones I like are Old Glory and the Star Spangled Banner and just so there is no misunderstanding I am a American born and bread. A son of a country that is the last best hope for the future of this planet and I will defend that flag and what it stands for against all enemies foreign or domestic. Yes I am a American as was my father before me and his father before him. Those men served and protected the right to fly that flag and the constitution of this country. They shed blood in WW1 as a Marine and in WW2 as a member of the US Army that we might be free of tyranny and put their lives on the line for freedom. So when I look at that flag I feel the honor of being the a son of such a heritage.
We must remain ever vigilant against our enemies, those who would make every effort to destroy our country and take away the liberty that those men of honor fought for.
So this election is just the start, once we have gained the White House then comes the daunting task of reversing the damage already done and to do it with our enemies within and without constantly assaulting our every move.
The task will be long and it will cost us much .. but we Americans understand sacrifice and hard work. We will face it as we always have with honor and conviction as we have so many times in the past. With God in our prayers.. With the Constitution as our guide and our heads held high as we look as Old Glory flies over head to remind us of the sacrifices our fore fathers made so that we can have the freedoms we now enjoy.

The Next Four Years
This election will determine the future of the United States. Socialism has been the order of the day for the last 3 years with our enemies being welcomed to the White House and our President spending time telling the world that our best days are behind us. Winning the election is just the first problem for the Republican Party. Then we have to find a way to repair the damage that socialism has done to our republic.
Conservatives should lead the way with real ideas and solutions not just more smoke and mirrors and a continuation of the socialism that has lead our country to the brink of destruction. We have to repair the economy by lower taxes and eliminating road blocks that keep our nations companies from doing business globally such as tariffs charged to countries like China and Taiwan that ship a majority of their items to the US.
They should be made to pay large tariffs on importing their goods to our country until they allow us to export to their countries making new markets available to the US business market. This would be the first step in recreating industry and putting people back to work.
Next we need to set a new course toward energy independence. We must begin again to search for more sources of crude oil and new ways to get the oil out of shale and other less conventional sources. The Canadian pipeline would go a long way in helping us depend less on middle eastern sources and add a strategic advantage if we are forced to engage Iran in a regional conflict.
Foreign policy will dominate the government agenda in the next 4 years with the global socialist shifting money and support to China and other countries in a effort to destabilize US security and interests. We must meet this problem with common sense and face the truth that the only way to change the current situation is to take a three prong solution to this problem. One is to stabilize our economy.. and pay back the foreign dept so as to minimize foreign control of our political decisions. Two is to rebuild our military power by way of reversing mindless involvement in petty conflicts that do not benefit US interests and return nothing to our country.
And, finally to stop apologizing for our foreign policies and our history. We must use diplomacy that benefits our country as opposed to giving everything to other countries and getting nothing in return. If we do get involved in a military intervention then we should be compensated for our involvement.
We must also begin again to defend the Constitution and the freedoms and liberties it grants us. If any elected official would go against that then they should be held accountable for their actions in service of the US people. They should be brought up on treason charges and removed from office.
Without a doubt the next four years will be trying times for all Americans and we must face them with faith, hope and as always the belief that the Constitution is the bulwark of our freedom and liberties.
